PROSOUND
adheres to industry-recognized regulatory standards. In addition to
audited internal process, PROSOUND is dedicated to product safety.
PROSOUND's safety labs are currently
accredited as follows:

Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL)
under the Client Test Data program (CTDP).
PROSOUND's laboratories test
and evaluate according to the UL813 standard, covering ITE products. Under
this accreditation, PROSOUND submits the test data and all the necessary
documentation along with a representative sample to UL for its review.
- Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL)
under the Witness Test Data Program (WTDP).
PROSOUND's laboratories test
and evaluate according to the UL6500 standard, covering general
requirements for Audio/Video products. Under this accreditation, PROSOUND
tests these products in the presence of a UL representative.
- Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL)
under the Witness Test Data Program (WTDP).
PROSOUND's laboratories test
and evaluate according to the UL2601-1 standard, covering general
requirements for Medical and Dental products. Under this accreditation,
PROSOUND tests these products in the presence of a UL representative.
- Nemko AS under the Testing By
Manufacturer Program (TBM).
PROSOUND's laboratories test and evaluate
according to EN60950, IEC60950, EN6500, and EN60601-1 standards, covering
general requirements for ITE, Audio/Visual, and Medical and Dental
products. Additionally, PROSOUND tests according to the EN61010-1
standard, covering electrical safety requirements for measurement, control
and laboratory use. Under this accreditation, PROSOUND tests and generates
CB reports and submits the test data and all the necessary documentation
along with a representative sample to Nemko for its review.
